My name is Andrew Hetzel. I graduated from the Concurrent Education ECE program from The University of Windsor in 2014. I have a Bachelors of Education, Early Childhood Education diploma, and Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Language and Literature. I also have the following additional qualifications: Instrumental Music, Reading, Primary and Junior Math, Online Learning, teaching students with communication needs, and FNMI Studies. I am also a Kindergarten and Special Education specialist. I taught in Ontario for 4 years before moving to Inuvik in 2019 where I teach senior kindergarten. Before I started teaching I worked as a day camp coordinator and coached competitive swimming for the Windsor Aquatic Club. I was also involved with the Lifesaving Society where I worked in a number of capacities including lifeguarding, teaching swimming lessons, supervising multiple aquatic centers and provided First Aid instruction for lifeguards and teacher candidates at the St. Clair College.
