Drin Gwiinzii! My name is Jessi McLeod. I teach Grade 6 at East 3 Elementary. I was born and raised in Inuvik, NT. I graduated from Samuel Hearne Secondary, and in 2020 completed my education at Yukon University. There is a great feeling about being able to teach at home sweet home! I love seeing students have those “aha!” moments and getting really engaged in things they are passionate about. I strive to make my classroom an inclusive environment that celebrates culture and diversity. Some of my favorite activities outside the school are spending time outside exploring our beautiful land, sewing, cooking, and reading.
